Life As It Used To Be

Once, I stumbled, lost in the haze,
Now, I dance through endless days.
No more battles, no more strife,
I've unlocked the door to life.

I made my promises, watched them fade,
Couldn’t keep the plans I made.
Now, with ease, I rise at dawn,
No push, no force—just moving on.

Tomorrow once was my escape,
A dreamer lost in time’s embrace.
Now, I start with no delay,
Each task unfolds in its own way.

I chased big goals but let them go,
Grew impatient, lost my flow.
Now, I walk through trials with grace,
No need for haste—just love the chase.

My meals were rushed, my health ignored,
Fast food chains were my reward.
Now, each bite fuels my soul,
No guilt, no lack—I’m fully whole.

I used to fear a failed attempt,
Felt defeated, discontent.
Now, I quit when quitting’s right,
And failure is a welcome sight.

Others think I’m driven, strong, and wise,
But play, not work, now fills my eyes.
No pressure, stress, or restless nights,
Just passion guiding all my flights.

Once, I stumbled, lost in the haze,
Now, I dance through endless days.
No more battles, no more strife,
I've unlocked the door to life.

I once felt burdened by the race,
Now, each moment finds its place.
Bound by “have to’s? Oh, not me,
Life flows like waves upon the sea.

Worry, fear, they owned my mind,
Doubts and stress weren’t far behind.
Now, I stand with open hands,
At peace with life and its demands.

I set my boundaries, clear and true,
Expecting less, yet gaining too.
No need to guard, defend, or fight,
Just walking free, my heart is light.

Once, efficiency was my game,
Impatient when the pace was tame.
Now, I listen, now I see,
Each moment holds eternity.

I give, but never feel the cost,
For nothing given is ever lost.
It’s not sacrifice, but gain,
A joyful dance with no disdain.

No more walls or guarded stance,
No defense—just let them glance.
I am open, I am free,
No one’s judgment cages me.

Conflicts now are not a war,
But chances to connect once more.
Self-interests weave, they intertwine,
What helps you will also shine.

Lonely once, I longed for more,
But found the key behind my door.
Each stranger, friend, a part to play,
A life of love in full display.

Meaning? I no longer ask,
For joy alone completes the task.
A child at heart, I run, I roam,
At last, this world has felt like home.

Once, I stumbled, lost in the haze,
Now, I dance through endless days.
No more battles, no more strife,
I've unlocked the door to life.
