What You Women Don't Know About Men

Oh women, gather close, and hear,
The truths of men, both far and near.
For though we're human, just like you,
There’s much about us that’s misconstrued.

Make him feel strong, admired, and grand,
A man will love with heart and hand.
Say, "You’re amazing!" or, "You’re the best!"
He’ll beam with pride, and pass love's test.

Respect’s the key, it’s crystal clear,
Nagging’s a sound we hate to hear.
A happy woman fills our soul,
But we must feel we’ve played a role.

Men are simple, this is true,
Our standards often don’t construe
The heights of yours, which reach so high,
While we would settle, most nearby.

We share our burdens rarely so,
For fear respect may take a blow.
To solve alone’s a source of pride,
Emotions often kept inside.

And sex, oh sex, a man’s delight,
A fire that burns by day and night.
Restraint’s a skill we often hone,
A hunger, constant, seldom shown.

Love’s not finite—men can find,
They love one woman, yet still bind
Their hearts to others, which can feel,
Like love for one is less than real.

But challenge keeps the passion strong,
A playful chase can go lifelong.
To keep him guessing, set the pace,
He’ll cherish more what’s not embraced.

Men’s love is just a slice of pie,
While women’s lives, their love will tie.
So ask for what you want with care,
And likely find his love is there.

If he’s a "fix-it" sort of man,
Explain you need a listening hand.
Say, "Just hear me, don’t repair,
I need to feel you simply care."

A simple "no" from him is firm,
To push again, respect may squirm.
But women’s "no" can mean, "Not now,"
Or, "Convince me more, then I’ll allow."

So women, hear these truths of men,
And let compassion guide you then.
For though we’re different, hearts still blend,
In love, we seek the same sweet end.
