You cannot have it all

Life is an infinite buffet to select from

It has been said that you can have it all. Total hogwash!

For every “yes” you say, you must say “no” 10,000 times.

For example, by choosing to read this right now, you are choosing not to do or read an infinite number of other things you could choose to do or read right now.

To be happy and satisfied with what we have and what we're doing, we must say "no"

When we don’t say “no” when we need to say “no,” we disempower what we have said “yes” to and our capacity to be present to our life, to enjoy the processes of fully participating in what we have said “yes” to.

Welcome to the opportunity and the courage to say “no,” both to yourself and to others!

"You have to choose from among the goods."

—Brad Brown

"You can have anything you want, but you can’t have everything you want."
—John-Roger and Peter McWilliams in “Do It! Let’s Get Off Our Buts”
